Blistein shock absorber

Hi Guys,

I have been told by my mechanic that my shock is started to leak and look a bit worn.. He told me that to replace them with a new set will cost me upward of $4000 (parts&labour)... That can't be right? So i would like to ask is there any place I can buy the parts myself?

Charging you $4k for new shocks is insane as Bilstein shocks are rebuildable, unless the shocks themselves have suffered impact damage.

A good place to try is Autolign, I believe that you would have to supply them the shocks removed from the car, but most mechanics should be happy to charge you to remove them and send them away for you. Might not be as cheap as 250 if you go that way, but nowhere near 4k

$4K is crazy I would just get bc gold adjustable and Certed 2K.
