Where to buy replacement gears?

Have the 6 speed gearbox out of my '01 STI wrx in pieces due to no reverse.

I've inspected the rest of the gears and everything is in very good condition apart from the reverse gear and synchro so I'd like to just replace the damaged items instead of the whole box. I'll try Subaru tomorrow but I'm guessing their pricing, if they'll even supply the parts, will be biblical. Anyone know of any other suppliers in NZ that sell individual gears, synchros etc.?

pbms will also be biblical in price judging by the 2k they wanted just for a bell housing for a 6 speed, and Subaru was even more expensive.

I would try strong for Subaru, allsubaru partsworld waiuku, sub a roo etc you never know but chances are you have to buy them all. Alternatively you can look for aftermarket companies like, PPG, Hollinger etc but they will defo be stupid money and don't remember seeing a reverse option in their catalogue.

The box munkvy just sold blkrex may hsve what you need in it actually as he only needed bellhousing.

^ I mean really...That coupling sleeve is about 12mm high and maybe 110 mm in diameter. Pretty sure paying people to push my car backwards would be cheaper than that.
