Outback springs into standard shocks

Hey guys,

My 2001 wagon sits noticeably lower at the back as it is vs the front, but with a load in the boot or towing a trailer its really bad.

I thought the springs might be a bit worn out (220km) so got some STI springs with Potenza shocks hoping the ride height didn't change n the harder springs reducing the sag under load, but its dropped another inch or so and even more with a load on.

I recall seeing posts with people putting standard legacy springs into outback shocks to lower their cars.. I'm thinking the best option then would be to find some rear outback springs and put them into my std shocks to stiffen up the back but not raise the height any more than the std shocks go..

Has anyone else tried this or have a better idea?

Outback springs: Higher ride height, softer spring, weird looking car with it's bum in the air

If you wanted stiffer with stock height you need to look at maybe chamberlains or similar to get some to suit?

Thanks Marky. Ahh I didn't realise they were softer..

Would it sit much higher even within the shorter std shocks?

I'll check out some chamberlains too cheers.
