Fuel Pump Kill Switch Install

My kill switch is currently located for display purposes only, of course the switch can be mounted anywhere discrete for added security. Also handy for diagnostics, turning the engine over without firing or to relieve fuel pressure etc.

I've had this red button on my dash since buying the car. Originally just a hole from the previous owner's sub or high/low boost switch:

I fitted the red rubber bung as a fake button. Today brought a proper 12v illuminated on/off switch:

I used a dremel to open the hole up slightly to fit the new switch:

Then put a coat of solder on the switch terminals. This switch has four terminals because it's illuminated. Two centre terminals are +/- for the LED, then the two right hand terminals are the main switch contacts:

I have four 1m lengths of wire taped together and stripped ready for soldering:

Heat shrink ready and a coat of solder on the ends:

First two wires soldered to the switch. I'm using brown for LED +, white for LED -, then yellow and green for the switch contacts:

Switch flipped over and the other two wires soldered up, then the heat shrink slid in place:

I taped the four wires into a loom:

Then because I don't want the switch illuminated I've terminated the LED wires off:

With the drivers footwell upper panel removed I've installed the switch into the dash, routing the loom down into the footwell:

Then beside the cabin fuse box is the fuelpump relay:

I've unplugged the FP relay loom plug and pulled it down for easy access:

Then stripped the wiring back a bit for cutting:

Then using a test lamp I found the FP relay switch earth wire, holding the loom plug as shown. The top right wire is always hot, this is the FP main power wire. The bottom right feeds the main power wire from relay to FP. Top left is the relay switch 12v supply from the ignition relay, then bottom left is the relay switch earth:

I've cut the black relay switch earth wire, which on my car goes to the ECU FP control pin (switch to ground). Then soldered either end to the new switch green and yellow wires:

Then heatshrinked, the loom taped back up and the FP relay plugged back in:

New FP relay switch loom cable tied out of the way:

Then the drivers footwell panel back in:

Now I can turn the fuel pump relay off anytime.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
