Gt Leagcy heating issues

Hey i just picked up a legacy gt wagon the other day and seems to be getting abit hot. I'v had a check over and found a few problems, first thing I found was three boost pipes wernt connected so she runs sweet now but still getting hot, i found a split hose, the one to the throttle body so i pulled the one from ICV and bypassed them. Ran up and she heated up still. So i thought id check thermostat, which is working but i noticed when i pulled the radiator hose the header tank did not drain, which i thought was odd so i pulled the pipe off thermostat housing and it drained, so i cleaned the pipe into thermostat housing out which appered blocked. Would this cause the radiator system to air lock and cause the heating problem? Is there anything else i should check b4 i put thermostat back in as it needs a new seal so havnt put it back together yet

yeah i did that to radiator and engine and seems to be flowing good i'm thinking that it was airlocking?

Yeah, sounds/sounded like an airlock.

Was the heater blowing warm air?
