v4 sti long block?? how much??

iv got a 96 v4 sti long block in my shed, was thinking about getting rid of it, how much do you think i could be looking at getting for it??

96 isnt v4 version 4 are 97-98, mostly 98

whoops my bad i pushed the wrong botton it was suppose to be the number 8 not 6. i got a photo somewhere on the camera. i defintily know that it is a v4 engine cos i took some photos of it to confirm it was a v4 engine last time(on the old website), and it was confirmed it was a v4 engine

Well if its a genuine version 4 STI engine, the heads alone are worth around $500 if in top condition.... Forged pistons etc, a good alround engine... starts to add up, its basically worth what someone is prepared to pay on the day and that can vary greatly. The best bet would be to search trademe etc and see what people are bidding for similar engines?

ahh yes good old trade me, haha will have a look on there. i hardly ever boosted it hardout, had enough power for me without boosting it hardcore. only ever ran it at 12psi so thats below stock standard what they come out with i think. i read somewhere that the sti comes out on factory 14psi, is that correct??
