CHANGING SPEEDOS PLEASE HELP

Hi,

I'm changing my speedo to the white face one from the normal black one. im guessing that the plugs will be different for the white gauge one. anybody done this before and know what i need to do?

What model car and did the speedo come from the same model car?

seems a bit of a backwards step??? More details will help, and also where are you located??? if in auckland I can always have a gander and see if the pinouts on the clusters are the same

bit different.... im going from the crap V1 black gauges to the White V5 gauges.... OH crap... just re-read his post.... thought he was going from white to black

but yeh... more details from poster 1... which model car do you have, are you using gauges from the same model or a different model.

If using a V5/6, the black gauges have the tacho on the right, where as the white ones have it in the middle, so the pins move a bit.... and there is minor differences between the V5 and the V6 stuff

i currently have a v3 speedo and want to put in a v4 white face speedo the plugs are on top on the speedo instead of the back like my current one

Can you put some photos of the clusters up please?
