ABS LIGHT grrrr

ABS light is on tonight for some reason , just getting it ready for the re-vin too any ideas ? ill strip the brakes this weekend

Anyway abs has diagnosis connector’s to get codes, let me know your model and I will step by step you

we can flash the code out of the abs control module...

whoops sorry , 1997 version 4 wrx sti , its strange as i havent been driving it , its just parked at my workshop

Probably a wheel speed sensor. Power supply relays fail too, but generally its a speed sensor.

I CAN POST IN HERE NOW yippee, any who, u still should have the code imbedded in the abs control module I would personally find out what code your abs system will flash just to be sure.

Couple ways to do this, so if you need help just ask, I’m a big fan of homemade Code Reading crap so I got a tip or to if you don’t have scanner handy

Could be nothing more than a flat battery. Did you have to jump start it?

There are a couple of likely models for that year, one has pipes going in the side of the abs unit and the other has the pipes in the top. Let us know which and we can tell you where the test connector is and how to extract the codes.

mine has pipes in the top , light hasnt come back yet , went for revin today , just a few small things to fix up

I suppose you already know it but, both those pictures can be enlarged by finding the clickable button at the bottom right of the photo. Just mouse around till the button lights up then click it.

If those terminals aren't there let me know and I'll post the other possibility.
