Volume vs pressure

For those of us still discussing this, P1V1T2 = P2V2T1 that’s Boyle's law!!!!

(Copied)(Constant temperature for a fixed mass, the absolute pressure and the volume of a gas are inversely proportional, the product of absolute pressure and volume is always constant)

and this law is used to calculating the volume and pressure of internal - combustion engines. But enough of this it’s an automobile form not a chemistry or mathematical form

nice post pappu

i would drive it, it would be ok at very low boost! If you don’t have self control well enough of it to not boost past the truck then trailer it. Hmmm contradicting myself here but reading over what I just said I would trailer it to as myself control is minus a 1000, I want to get pass and fast, nay I will get pass and fast :D

um prolly early next year unless people get there a in g...also have to book a time for NZefi as last time i went there was a 2 month lead time.

I am currently building my adapter and split rails and all the rest of the stuff to go with it, all on a dummy engine untill im ready to go.....then it will be mission on.....

You're still stuck on a fixed mass principle.

As VE changes, the mass of air in the combustion chamber changes (if pressure remains constant).

Which is why a bigger turbo will be able to flow more air through the engine at say 15 psi than a smaller turbo also at 15 psi as the larger turbine side will increase the VE by reducing backpressure in the exhaust i.e. making the engine a more efficient "air pump"

I do feel that we are all pretty much on the same side in this debate though (just looking at it from differing angles) and it has gotten away from the point that Dubbedup should really trailer the car 350kms...

I concur that we are on the same page with different colourer pens writing the same thing, as I just re read everything myself, hence why I kind of stopped with the last post I did, but YOU had to have the last say did you, that bugs me :)

I actually thought you were on the right track a page or two ago, but then theoretical maths/physics (massless ropes/frictionless pulley's type stuff were dynamic situations get forgotton about or tend to zero) got in the way of real world stuff and I didn't want to leave the information half finished. Personally I think this has been one of the more interesting discussions on here lately and wish this type of stuff came up more often. Admittedly I should word stuff more in the form of questions to keep the ball rolling :)

Being extremely open and honest.. admittedly loved every part of this post the inner geek was thriving in its element... Now part two! perpetual motion anyone & the laws of thermodynamics? Jokes aside look forward to more run-in’s Koom it was a pleasure

Perpetual motion may be pushing it for a discussion as I know from my point of view that I've been too Institutionalised in my thinking lately. I had some ideas back in the day that I knew were fruit looped but would have been interesting to do some calc's to see if I could work myself into a tight circle.

Maybe drag up an old thread on wind turbines vs Nuclear power vs any random alternatives. BTW I'm stoked that they put a stop to the windfarm on the Lammermoor Range down in Central Otago.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
