Limp mode?

Hi well lately my 99 b4 rsk has been running only 8.5 psi on the primary and secondary turbos i believe this is wastegate pressure. Is it running in limp mode and is there any easy ways to get the boost back up to stock levels?(maybe boost controller or something) Any help would be great, Thanks.

havnt you asked this before, in regards to the injector cleaner. which thread now seems to be in the rubish.

have you tried an ecu reset?

had you found any more infor regarding the injector cleaner issue?

if you are in limp mode, there is a reason for it, adding a boost controller can cause you more issues.

yeah i tried recetting the ecu with no luck ill take it to my mates to let him have a look at it when he gets back in 2 days, And i talk to a mechanic regarding the injector cleaner and he thinks that the cleaner could not have caused this, so im a bit clueless atm

how did you try reseting the ecu?

removing the negative terminal on the battery and pumping the breaks, then waiting for 30 mins before reconnecting and driving. (i believe this is what i was supposed to do but im noob to subarus so could be wrong lol)

mhm i found when mine went into limp mode it wouldn't make boost at all, was at about 5grand with no boost, still in vac.

mine runs 7 then 9 normally which is waste gate pressure

does yours have a BOV. Ive heard of another which ran normal boost, then put a BOV in factory place hoses etc and it made it drop to waste gate pressure.

nah still got the stock bov installed havnt messed with anything in the engine atall. Just got home and about to recet the ecu now, will post how it goes

Well i recet the ecu with the method above and the check engine light was flashing constantly so i guess theres no problem there but the car remains to be running wastegate pressure

do you want to cheak the fault codes, see if that says anything

then check all you vacuum lines, make sure there not broken or deteriorated

Just checked my vacum hoses and found one to be lose, reconnected it and the problem has been fixed! back up to stock boost. Thank you very much smurff

and the vacum lines are the rubber tubes on top of the engine pretty much and they are all numbered
