manual conversion in sedan parts from wagon

ok at some stage in a couple of weeks im going to do a mnaual conversion for a mate on his auto rsb he has a donor gt wagon which is manual

will the manual driveshaft from the wagon fit the rsb sedan?

also what else do i need to do thats tricky i know all the wiring stuff i just cant remember if the driveshafts ae different from sedan to wagon in the manual version

will be changing the rsb to the 4.111 final drive ratio gearbox and the rear diff also

It should. Wont be more than a couple mm out, or most likely will be an exact match

Yup. The wheelbase is the same. The wagon gets the extra length behind the rear axle. Just swap everything.

i did a manual conversion from a gt wagon to a wrx wagon which was shorter i found that the auto drive shaft was shorter that the manual drive shaft i think it is much the same in this case

Impreza and Legacy have the same floorpan, so the wheelbase is the same. You have to swap prop shafts with a manual conversion as the auto box is longer. It's not the body that's longer.

ok sweet ive got all the wiring sorted there just one thing im confused on http://www.surrealmirage.com/subaru/swap/electrical.html#start for the neutral switch do i still need to find and cut a wire like pin 18 on B36 plug ? this link is for a bc5 conversion from auto to manual ? its got something to do with power still going to the luster can i not just chnage from the auto dash to the manual ?

That wire is for BC5 conversions for sure. I dont know if BG/BD models have it. Yes you can change the cluster.
