I've tried a bunch of different bulbs over the years, with no noticeable improvement. Keeping the inside of the lamp clean helps though

Mine has a bit more vintage but does the same thing by the sounds of it, only when its wet though... Have had shocks and all sorts of strut and suspension bushes replaced yet it persists -
Replace with new!

From memory the 66 I had was a pooched BOV, wasn't opening... Easy fix

Yeah managed to drop the oil filler cap down there once, had to pull the sump guard off in the petrol station forecourt to get it out!
