you'll need the whole setup including the hub, depending on the version of dccd, you will need the ecu and relays, its easy to wire up, everything bolts in

  4. ver8 and 9 are also different even though they do look the same and have the same peanut eyes, the ver9 uses better hub patern 114x5 where the 8 uses 5x100. interior also different that shares the same as ver10 turbo in the ver10 is different smaller then the ver8/9 dont know why as its got 2.5L
  5. a photo will be better, especially of the intake manifold, and heads
  6. you use a M6 bolt to pull it out, usually i use the battery clamp, the thread on it is perfect or the bolt that holds the cam cover on
  7. as long as the its darken glass it should be ok and also if its cracked then they can fail you
  8. serious? what about this weekend in Taupo? you not racing?
  9. they are... but different location. Selective autoparts are up the road near the tip... subeuro is also their base used becall autoparts... they dont really have much parts there, keeps saying that they dont get em anymore cause all the cars goto aussie or uk now... Sean is a good guy ive known him for over 15 years. best to give them a call first to see if they do have anything you want. save your time, persinally ask for Sean theres also smith able salvage, bottom of broken hill road, on the way to the tip. i used them most of the time, they have lots of BC/F parts and a few GF there... Ask for Dan
  10. yeah they are rare as unless something is wrong with it like 5th gear synchro is stuffed
  11. you will still need to use your speed sensor from the 5spd as u are using the v5sti ecu and the plugs are different... just for the speed sensor, the dccd plugs are the same
  12. you mean u got a 6speed DCCD gearbox? or you got a 6speed non dccd box and your car used to be DCCD? if you wanna run dccd in your GC8 you will need the ECU for it... the 5spd dccd ecu can control it also... if u had dccd 5psd before and wanting to put a 6speed dccd in then everything fits... and can run it... if u dont have 6spd dccd in a 5spd dccd car just unplug the ecu or the dccd fuse hope that makes since?
  13. have you got any photo of the rear ones?
  14. you can change the profile of the tires to a bigger one for more cushioning... what size are your tires? which could be more expensive but again u can sell the old tires to pay back for the new ones
  15. yep you are sure right they are 5x100 i ended up selling him my spare BBS wheels but was looking how the bearing are bolt in type with build in ABS sensors, was wondering if it posisble to bolt the 5x114 in it?
  16. damn! i paid about $300 for my BMW... they had to get it from Germany cause the transponder was stuffed...
  17. thanks thats interesting to know. my mate is going up and down about how his BP5 are different as he was trying put Brembos on the back... in the end he gave up and sold it... wondering if the V9 ones can fit in the BP5?

  20. oh are you the one from Wellington?
  21. its a big job to change that hose under the manifold but its not very hard just takes more time
  22. we did the same thing on 1CE Ver8STI Spec C, just make sure u dont get a large diameter air filter [quote name='Fastfour said: I've got a piece of metal pipe somewhere with the afm hole and setup in it. It's a straight piece of pipe that could work for you. Let me know this is what you need Papp... Jason's from AUX too...
  23. they are the same apart from the ABS sensor location... if u got a Type R you shouldnt have any ABS unless its a JDM version non STI
