  1. Nice work I had a look on that site for one for a 5 speed. For my rs but could t find one aye. Anyone know if gfb make one and where to get one from? Easiest way to find out would be to contact them directly. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Members/Listings.aspx?member=2126183
  2. I use platinums because a) Because not race car b) Don\'t need to change them so often c) Is my daily d) They conduct enough for what I require
  3. Copper ..... really? I keep away from them on my Subarus, platinum only for me.
  4. FUCKING HELL! They did a real number on that. Also, Urban dictionary. 808 1. The penal code for disturbing the peace. Refers to the sound of bass from stereos.
  5. That\'s rough mate. Avoid, they are terrible alarms
  6. B.I.N.G.O. No heaters/fans turned on required on Subarus
  7. Every Subaru is pretty much self bleeding, but you have to bleed as much as you can. The overflow bottle isn\'t there to catch excess fluid in the cooling system, you should always have the overflow filled to the max line on the bottle (you\'re an idiot if it\'s empty). The way it works is when air is in the system it is relieved through the top hose in your expansion tank and towards the overflow bottle, this also creates a vaccum and fluid is then sucked from the overflow bottle back into the cooling system rather than air if it were empty.
  8. Wouldn\'t advise this. I have tried it before and the plastic neck warps in the heat, it doesn\'t create that good of a seal, and try holding that thing when full of engine heated water.
  9. Not a cheap item, and is also a pain to get to
  10. Again, RS manual, GT auto. can be either sedan or wagon Self quote 8) Apart from the 97 on with bilsteins being only rsb/sedan or gtb/wagon Just to throw that spanner in the works haha This is a RSB, there is no GT on it

  12. Likely left hand side, says brake fluid on cap
  13. Tyres are one thing you don\'t want to cheap about. They are the only thing attached to the road, and play a huge role in your and passenger safety. Cheap tyres will not grip the road as well on corners, and also slide under emergency braking.

  15. Don\'t pay anyone to change your pads or rotors, it is one of the most basic services on your car. If you do a bit of a youtube search I\'m sure you\'ll find a few how to guides. Go to your local repco and buy a set of front and rear TRW vented rotors (I can\'t remember the exact size, but measure your current ones) and as you\'re not on a track or doing much heavy driving I\'d suggest a basic set of TRW pads too. Be sure to change your brake fluid while you\'re at it, use a dot4 fluid
  16. Things are worth what people are willing to pay
