Ughhhh... Alrighty, my 2012 WRX which has had a engine rebuild under warranty before I purchased it and had the clutch replaced last year is having some... Issues. This has happened 3 times in the 1.5 months I've owned the vehicle, mainly when changing down gear to slow down as soon as I hit neutral to get into the gear, all the gears lock up. I cant get it into any gear whatever I try, I have to turn the car off and put it in gear then start it for the gears to free up. And also when slowing down sometimes changing into mainly 2nd and 1st ill feel the clutch shuddering under my foot and then there will be a whinning noise and the gear will lock up and I have to try again to get it in. I took it to winger for its first service after the rebuild and they had a look and inspected everything they could without pulling stuff out and said basically they cant do much without it happening to them on a test drive or me demonstraiting it to them.. I need Winger to do the work to be under warranty (as far as I understand) but if I give them my car and say pull out the Gbox and they find nothing, that bills just going to be on me?.. Just curious if anyone has an idea of what it could be, synchros? Or another shop I could go to that do warranty work... any help is appreciated ofc.

NAC quoted me 3,300a year... ClubAuto who my v7 was through quoted me 2,500.. Tower who I went with quoted me 1,700 a year. All for full cover.

V7 bugeye, v8-9 blob eye with v9 having different rear arches? V10 hawkeye. I believe its the americans who skip the v9 as also being a blobeye. Can tell by shape and chassis code.

Purchased a new one to replace the V7, now just gotta wait for it to get her from chch
