  2. Looked into it and called the school the kid is from. It's a legit email address, so likely a school project. Waiting for a call back from either the Dean of the school or their IT department, but considering everything I've already gleaned, it looks to be safe.
  3. Delta and I are heading off around 2pm Friday. If people would like to join us? Sent from my TA-1012 using Tapatalk
  4. Oooh haaaaai! We have a gravex that we'd like to throw round the track! Sent from my TA-1012 using Tapatalk
  5. Its actually still a 207. It comes on and boogies around 4k mark ish. Sent from my TA-1012 using Tapatalk
  6. Uhhhhm, think you've got it backwards there bud. Launch Control is used to build boost on the line before you launch, so you don't bog down and out before you get out of the hole. Anti lag doesn't build boost (EDIT: Unless you're talking WRC type sh!t which is mental and certainly does build boost) by any means, it just tries to maintain it best it can. Usually does this by dumping fuel into the cylinder off throttle, which exits the cylinder then when hits the hot manifold, explodes. Creating exhaust pulse and forcing the turbo to spool. Hence why it does heinous things to the manifold and turbo lol. Also[mention=20441]batbaruman[/mention] you're also looking at it the wrong way. You absolutely should be looking at what the cars doing off throttle. That's where a ton of your response can be picked back up because of that lazy as hell potato of a turbo you have. Antilag is probably the biggest help to get it kicking. Keep the turbo on song, and you'll get better response. Sent from my TA-1012 using Tapatalk

  8. Right! So, who's going down that is willing to take my ugly arse to palmy and back? I have Friday and Monday off so good for whenever! Willing to chip in on the petroleum costs. Will be rather awkward if no one can [emoji23] Sent from my TA-1012 using Tapatalk
  9. Lol what. Did you pay for those parts? Sent from my TA-1012 using Tapatalk
  10. Well, think us over at SubSqd will all be parking up at chulozomos place (Levin) for the weekend. Atleast I will be. Sent from my TA-1012 using Tapatalk
  11. Hey @chulozumo I checked yours for you. Because I had your Vin. Handy for reasons I won't Divulgue. How are you feeling about handing your keys for the RA-R over to Subaru NZ [emoji23][emoji23] Sent from my TA-1012 using Tapatalk
  12. I'm super glad my RA isn't on this recall list, mainly because LOL yeah, there's not much RA left in it bar the interior (minus the GDB steering column and steering wheel). Side note, I've removed the GDB Airbag. If I got recalled and they'd not give me a wof because of this kafuffle, I'm not sure what they'd say because really, my RA it's a complete mongrel.
  13. Post up your dyno sheet buddy. It's part of the rules [emoji14] Sent from my TA-1012 using Tapatalk
  14. I was tempted to remove yah and keep it to top 20 but fk it. It's always cool to know everyone's results. Sent from my TA-1012 using Tapatalk
  15. I'm not saying don't get a new bigger stock location. I'm saying there's another bigger problem for the reason why you're not making power. Case and point above, he made 223kw off the vf34. Or 30. Yes I should know since I edited the list but still. Lol Sent from my TA-1012 using Tapatalk
  16. Mine requires a running engine haha. I dont yet have that. Sent from my TA-1012 using Tapatalk
  17. Alright that's me cheaper than paying about $120 for flights anyway plus the banter haha.
  18. If someone is going from Auckland, so am I. I was just going to fly down to Welly and @chulozumo was gonna pick me up and he's gonna take his RA-R while I take his Gravex. But if someone wants to drive down I don't mind sharing fuel costs.
  19. If you're a subbed member it's a 10 cent lunch soooo get amongst

  21. That, my friend, is exactly why you'll use a flex fuel sensor for. There's no issues with mixing e85 and normal petrol, you just mix and go. Thing about flex fuel, is that it scales on the fly what percentage or what map it'll use VS a table it has stored on the ecu for its ethanol content targets. Sent from my TA-1012 using Tapatalk
  22. Ifs that's the case, I'd be looking at the motor to give it a fresh up. You can always pull pistons and replace rings without splitting the block. Sent from my TA-1012 using Tapatalk
  23. Get it on and check everything else. Check for restrictions, compression issues, leak down, anything. Sent from my TA-1012 using Tapatalk
  24. The TL;Dr here is that your car as it is, with a vf30 (if that's what you've currently got) and your other supporting mods, should and will hit 220kw AS IT IS. If you can't hit that mark, there's either something wrong somewhere that needs fixing First. Because if you go spend silly money on a new bigger turbo but something else is broken, you're going to be in the region of $3000 out of pocket with nothing to show but maybe the same results if not a shade more. It's not a point of me throwing shade, it's us telling you to learn from mistakes we've made and to learn from em bud. Go find what turbo you've really got, if it's a td04 then find a good vf30 or 34 make sure EVERYTHING in your car is working as it should. Aka compression test your motor, check your injectors (flow test them) and then depending on where you are, take it for your new tune, because what you have will do what you want! If you're Si, take it to SAS. lower Ni? Prestige Motorsport or whatever their name is. Mid Ni, Keith Stewart @ dyno pro. Auckland area, GLEN Suckling @ GDS Automotive. Hi-power
  25. That surprises me with a sinco manifold. Sent from my TA-1012 using Tapatalk
