  1. Tell you what, I like that drive. Pay for my flight down there and fuel / ferry costs and I'll do it
  2. You definitely don't need mega power, but a casual 300kw doesn't hurt
  3. Indeed there's enough space still Sent from my TA-1012 using Tapatalk
  4. Please no! I've got V9 STi Spec C heads this time around. Breaking those would absolutely suck. Sent from my TA-1012 using Tapatalk
  5. Yeah the first event '15 flatnats, fuel pump died. '16 flatnats, found bearing in the sump a week before. 17' MegaMeet, nuked a forged closed deck motor. My luck with cars means I'll probably throw a gear through my 6 speed case this year hahaha[emoji23][emoji23] Sent from my TA-1012 using Tapatalk
  6. Throwback to the first MegaMeet when my RA died just before Huntly [emoji58][emoji58] Sent from my TA-1012 using Tapatalk
  7. mmmmm you shouldn't be having the troubles your experiencing. For furzes car, which is 300kw, and me absolutely banging on it like a bongo drum at Ruapuna for 15 minutes or so, temp never batted an eye when it came to Water temps. Though a big difference to be fair, is the Holset isn't watercooled. Have you checked your heater core btw?
  8. It may well be? I don't remember though. Sent from my TA-1012 using Tapatalk
  9. I think its a 10cm or a 12cm.@evowrx Sent from my TA-1012 using Tapatalk
  10. Curious, what sort of power range are you looking at? Also, yes a 38mm tial will work for a single wastegate as long as it's divided properly. The biggest downside to the single gate style is the divider up to the gate. When you beat on your car and get that hot, it'll probably get weak and probably break. I say this because @Furze and I have had no end of issues with the single wastegate on his car. Twice the divider has broken off and jammed the gate open. If you've also got headwork going into your build I assume you're shooting for more than 350kw. To which I'd say get off the BL/BP headers and get STi headers. You'll run into a wall from 350kw onwards which @SAS will confirm. So, on that note, bugget allowing, go twin gates and STi headers / up-pipe. It'll make your life easier and if you go to a bigger turbo / cams etc that'll likely and easily outflow the BL/BP headers and single gate setup, you won't need to do it all over again.
  11. It's a bit of distance, but it's an awesome track and not too bad of a drive Imho. Sent from my TA-1012 using Tapatalk

  14. Most certainly can! I'll go back through the last two pages and make sure things are there. Just had to fix the formatting and tables first up haha.
  15. Also, I update the original post. Fixed it all up so it looks right again. Will add photos of the circuits later on, when not at work
  16. You know what. I'm gonna bump this thread. Because there's a bunch of OG ClubSub Racers in here and I'm keen to get amongst. Ran Ruapuna back in October, club circuit with dipper. 1:08:60 I think I did okay, but I know there was a few more seconds that I could've squeezed out of it. fastest lap was when I had a clutch which had been boiled over, so major clutch issues when trying to change gears unsettled me. Really think I could've hit 1:06. What do y'all think
  17. Sooooo how'd you not let her get away with it? Sent from my TA-1012 using Tapatalk
