On my old V2 it was behind the drivers side headlight and the same on my V5.... And as posted above my V2 just had the switch for use when you want, but on my V5 it has both the auto and individual switches.

Hello, I was wondering if anybody could recommend a subaru specialist mechanic in the Wellington / Hutt Vally or Kapiti Coast areas....? I have just bought a 1998 V5 STI Type R but I'm wanting to get the cam belt,water and oil pumps replacing just for my own piece of mind Thanks.... Stevie.P...

With both of those classics they look like they have been well looked after and thats what I'm after. As i had a V2 classic STI back in the UK and owned it for 10yrs and like those no expense was ever spared. Also i have an itch that I'm needing to scratch…… Thanks for all the info chaps…..:)
