Just had my front rotors machined by Masterbrakes in Wellington, they offer a mobile service that (from the quotes I got from other places) is cheaper than taking your rotors into a shop for machining. I was charged $55.20 a pair. The guy was fast and on time and did an awesome job.
P.S. they need access to a 240v mains socket for the lathe.

I've been reading about making your own penetrating fluid with acetone and ATF, people swear by it and reckon it works better than any of the off the shelf. Maybe try making some and trying it.
Looking on the Google, the nipple is supposed to be at a right angle but it's supposed to be a curved bend. Can't quite tell from your pic if it's curved or just bent/folded over.
Is that a one of those Rockwell ones? What do you make of it so far? I've always wanted one but have been hesitant to get one as they're quite cheap compared to the equivalent torque DeWalt + all those other expensive brands.
I don't mind the sound of equal length, I know what the sound like as one of my neighbors owns a LGT similar to yours. Get a proper system from downpipe back and enjoy the extra torque.
The main problem you'll run into is people berating you for downgrading the performance of your car, no joke.
Equal length is better in almost every way except, no, you don't have the unequal pulse known as 'fxxx it's those boy racers again'/'boxer rumble'.
Have a read of this: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=601219
BTW, nice car! If you want boxer rumble I'll swap mine for yours
I should probably do the same. I always end up doing half jobs, eg. I have 1 new rack boot and 1 new CV boot while the other ones are only just holding together
I went to BNT and they gave me a "universal Subaru" one for around $7 I think. Fits OK but it's a bit short and at full lock it's quite stretched. Still better than $70 though
If he flat out says 6" won't fit, he's not much of an audio guy lol. 6" will fit, but you will need to make/buy some spacers as yes, the mounting is very shallow and without spacers the magnet will hit the window. I made myself some spacers with a sheet of MDF, a jigsaw, a ruler, a pencil and half a brain, so it's dead easy.
Mine does the same. It's always bothered me but I was told it's nothing major. Sometimes it's quite bad and the car jerks around pretty bad and just makes me look like I can't drive
The belt itself will probably be OK, it will be one of the idlers or the tensioner that will fail which will then cause the belt to slip/wear causing damage. If the job hasn't ever been done and you're at 192km I would rule out option 1. What is the rest of the car like? If it's in good condition you could spend the money on the belt job and it could last another 200000km.
