@Scoobydoo, are you in Auckland? Well come to come sit in my BM
For fuel economy I'd probably go 2.5 NA. The 2.0 NA is gutless and boring and the 2L GT and 3L H6 are thirsty at times.
The BM/BR have a much cheaper fascia kit if you find one without the GPS/Screen stock headunit.
BP Legacy are generally cheaper which gives you the extra cash to buy a fascia kit.
Another thing to consider it rear leg room. I found the BL/BP to be quite cramped in the back seat compared to the BE/BH and BM/BR Legacys.
Lol those stickers mean nothing. I've seen "400kW+" stickered cars do sub 300kw on hub dynos.
At the end of the day, it's your car, you don't have to justify your decisions but the guys/gals on here have great advice on how to make your car perform.
Don't just be one of these guys:

Yeah, having had my 3rd Gen Legacy with the EZ30, I was quite happy as the balance of performance, handling, comfort and ability to cruise.
Was just a good all rounder.
Just looking for people's opinions/experiences with 4th Gen 2L Turbo and 3L NA Legacy/Outback models.
Any major downsides to either? Specifically looking at Automatics in this comparison.

LVVTA are usually pretty willing to answer any questions if you're unsure
You know the hype is real when you start looking for parts... http://www.whiteline.com.au/do_segue4.php?make=SUBARU&model=OUTBACK&model_final=OUTBACK+BP+INCL+TURBO&vehicle=9%2F2003-8%2F2009
Trying to narrow down my options. So many BP wagoooooons available on the market, just have to decide on which particular flavour I want
Hmmmm.....
Maybe different for NZ New?
