  1. This. Makes hypothetical lottery purchases so difficult!
  2. I\'m not convinced that the legacy 17"\'s will clear STi brembos. Could be wrong?
  3. If the above is enough to create drama, don\'t visit other internet forums!
  4. Thank god for my garage. My girlfriend thinks I\'m paranoid about driving it anywhere...which I am, justifiably so!
  5. The auto transmission has a control computer so if that isn\'t getting enough voltage it probably wont change gear, I would assume
  6. Whilst normally I would advocate this route, stiffer suspension in a daily driver is not most people\'s cup of tea
  7. Slowly wearing out the edges . But the main meat is insanely stubborn.
  8. Be prepared to be unable to corner in the rain and not even in the dry too well. I have those tyres and they are absolute shite. Although they last forever, I\'ve been intentionally trying to destroy them and they will not die.
  9. Aftermarket ones are $7USD Luckily I managed to get it without paying shipping though - think they wanted $20USD for shipping ???
  10. On a related note, why do British people whine so much about their petrol prices when it\'s the equivalent of like $2.60nzd/litre [bad maths was here]. Not suprised that they only sell 250/year given you have to sell your kidney to afford insurance, though!
  11. Blue or blurple? If blurple, this is normal apparently. Unless your front is different from your engine bay, in which case wut.
  12. Face lifted...face... Though Edit: swear I noticed the edit and pressed back and didn\'t submit fffuuu
  13. Their bad reputation stems from the fact that they are cheap, and as such the kind of people who buy cheap cars also don\'t tend to treat them well. In other countries they have a very high level / reputation of reliability. My old Toyota and my girlfriend\'s corolla have both been more expensive to maintain than the three turbo subarus I have owned. Although some Subaru genuine parts are shockingly priced.
  14. Released the same time in other markets iirc so yeah just subaru nz cocking about

  16. Worth a shot. My v7 sti with aftermarket immobilisers re-arms itself which, if you haven\'t connected in the 38 second window, kills the connection / ecu.
  17. http://www.stuff.co.nz/dominion-post/news/8061235/Car-thieves-boast-on-Facebook World famous in NZ. Good on ya for getting some amount of exposure. Probably won\'t help but worth a shot!
  18. Is the immobiliser active? Won\'t connect if it is
  19. Not sure if anyone follows engineered to slide but it\'s fapfapfap (even if you\'re not into drifting). http://engineeredtoslide.com/2012/12/japan-hakone-skyline/ Some 22B pics and other rare japanese win in that post.
  20. What\'s the point in installing a catch can if you\'re not experiencing oil consumption to begin with? Serious question, not making a dig
  21. Another tick for State here - only had to claim a windscreen but that was easy enough
