  1. Lads, see below. Knew I wasn't just blowing smoke out my ass!
  2. I'm not the only one! Same principle for towing. Also keeps the headlights level.
  3. I'll find it in the manual and post it up, otherwise I'm imagining S***
  4. I wouldn't bank on it, this set has been on trade me for months now... Pose as a car buyer and test drive an Outback from a dealer, you'll get a feel for what I mean. The Outback struts are approx. 30mm longer than the Legacy ones, also a taller softer spring. Self leveling rear struts (the ones I linked previously) as well, good/bad? - not to sure...
  5. You will get at least 50mm lift with Outback struts and springs. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=1181399526 http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=1183868063 Beware, the outback spring rate is very low. The ride will be incredibly soft in comparison to your existing.
  6. Nice work guys! Good to see this game moving finally. Looks like I'll be taking a trip out to Takanini then!
  7. Reasoning for the flat sidewall? Care to update us on the situation of your wagon?
  8. Hahaha shot yourself in the foot without knowing it!
  9. Cheers bro! 225/45/R18 225/45 has a slight side wall curve but looks just right in my opinion. Tried to get as close to the factory rolling circumference/diameter as possible, 235/45 would have been exactly the factory specs but no chance they would have fitted in the guard/flare (as I've found out since fitting up).

  11. We're these taken on Saturday? Drove past and saw you parked up there.
  12. For sure! We can take a few photos as mentioned previously too.
  13. No issues with headers or any bottoming out on the chassis but I'm not as low as ADIKT, I do however hit the towbar frequently on driveways but this seems to protect my mufflers (thank god!). I have cut all the flare plastic out, creates about 10-15mm of room.
  14. Fitted the new rubber, had to do some on the fly home guard work to the front in order to make them fit.
  15. Surely someone has time swing by this easily recognisable venue...
  16. You're right, @1randomkiwi posted it in car crimes a couple of weeks back
  17. The BBS's I've posted previously
  18. These are quite frankly some of the most beautiful tyres I've ever seen, I actually don't even want to drive on them...
  19. Not sure if JDM or NZDM, have a look and make your own judgement. Good luck! https://trademe.co.nz/1171925358
  20. I would feel pretty comfortable purchasing those Bilsteins from Strongs, if they aren't any good when you get them in then I'm sure they'd refund you/resolve the issue. Even if they wouldn't, at $295 I'd chance my arm. Double check the spring rate for the rears though, otherwise you could end up with a saggy rear end. Just my 2 cents.
  21. I've only ever had the '3D alignments' (at Hyper & Autostance), pretty high tech and seem to be accurate...
  22. That's one of my favourites, love the aggressive stance!
  23. I had my last alignment done by Heino at Autostance, I was standing in the workshop while he did the work. Got him to do the alignment for an upcoming cert (ie. maxed out factory specs for camber) and to fit my new wheels. He spent a lot of time adjusting my camber arms due to poor design on the manufacturers behalf, however got the job done! Cost me $80 if I remember correctly. I'd recommend them, very helpful and willing to go the extra mile.
  24. Is yours in for the same treatment by any chance?
