  1. Where does the v3 sti have it's o2 sensors? Want to have my wagon running primo. Have a 6s ecu in it. Any help appreciated!
  2. I'll check that later today then - followed by checking my temp sensor wiring lol
  3. Ah yep sweet as - How does one tell if it's aligned or not? I would assume 0v at 0% throttle or something? Edit: it's only hard to start when it's cold / cooled down - this leads me to think my coolant temp sensor isn't working?
  4. Put a new brake light in the rear Didn't notice I'd grabbed a 24 volt one ffs
  5. Righto, another question. Will a TPS on it's way out cause hard starting? Car wouldn't start so I wiggled the plugs on things.. ie crank - then wiggle afm plug - crank - wiggle iacv plug - crank etc etc... my best efforts at a process of elimination here... But anyway, wiggled the wire on the TPS and it started straight away - not sure if coincidental or not lol
  6. Don't forget the Hose 10 mod either!
  7. Single turbo it! Its easy with the funds lol
  8. I've done it on mine but purely because I think it looks cool
  9. Both turbos have wastegates? Sure that one isn't just the massive ECV valve?
  10. Ah whoops my bad Try now.. Its just a video I uploaded due to being happy as that my $300 motor goes lol
  11. Update: took the manifold off again, cleaned IACV and throttle body, re plumbed everything etc etc Now its happy as! No cel or nothing. Also swapped out alternator today and did a wasted spark swap onto it as well.
  12. Also makes a popping sound every so often.. wondering if possibly timing could be out or something? Not sure how that's possible though!
  13. Have finally put together my wagon. Have yellow injectors and orange AFM with 6s ECU. Now when I start it, the revs go up to around 3500rpm then drop to nothing after two or three seconds. I've checked for vac leaks etc, and to make things difficult, it's not even throwing a CEL??? I'm still running coil on plug and have done the wiring to run it. I have the white plugs to the coils at the front of the car and the black ones toward the rear. Anyone have any idea what could be causing this? Have tried a different IACV also
  14. You may have answered your own question really.. Have you checked your CV joints at all?
  15. Do all EJ20s have two block breathers? Also just wondering what size hose did you end up using for the head breathers?
  16. Stripped the v3 intake manifold and steam cleaned it before painting Ordered a fake ssqv to have something till I can get a decent recirculating valve
  17. BKR6EIX-11 is what I'm using lol
  18. Do it before its det central hahah Are you still running the TT motor or whole new one?
  19. If you plug the 6s in straight away with coil on plug it'll only fire on two cylinders
  20. Have you done either wiring mods for coil on plug with the 6s or a conversion to wasted spark?
  21. Righto then - looks like i'll use my original hose idea but use both ports on the intake pipe - unsure of how many km are on this motor. Cheers!
  22. So in the middle of my single turbo conversion - just wondering how the PCV setup is supposed to run? I assume the valve on the back of the inlet + the crank breather are both linked together then connected up pre-turbo? Then the same deal for the breathers on the heads / rocker covers? Which makes me wonder, would I be alright to use pieces of hose and T pieces to link all four together then up to the intake pipe and block the other outlet off ? May seem like a stupid question but i'd rather run hoses than the factory plastic type ones under the manifold - trying to get a reasonably clean looking engine bay.
  23. Currently in the midst of doing a twin to single turbo conversion on my BG5, done everything bar downpipe. No single turbo Subarus at pickapart except for SF5 Foz (The early model ones)... Does anyone know if the crossmember from one of these will fit my wagon? Cheers
