  2. Did it come free with your $36 coolant hose kit?
  3. For anyone tired of the poor choice of 5x100 wheels available. Being that wheel choice's limited them we developed a better option. For your very own set get in touch with contact us. 04 650 3772 www.llamaengineering.co.nz
  4. You need these https://rogerclarkmotorsport.co.uk/store/product/108-rcm-samco-coolant-hose-kit-wrx-sti-96-00 https://rogerclarkmotorsport.co.uk/store/product/104-rcm-samco-top-bottom-radiator-hose-kit-wrx-sti-92-00
  5. Maybe it's just the scale but the torque curve looks nice and flat. Looks like it would be nice to drive.
  6. Unless tuned to take advantage of the higher knock resistance, you are running a fuel that is less willing to burn and might have less energy than BP98. If you have a Jap spec ecu that was tuned to 100 octane... then awesome.
  7. Probably coz we don't care about drag racing Good on ya though.
  8. Air filter certainly looks like it's seen better days.
  9. They are awesome... just got two rear axles for my coupe... ordered on Sunday... on my desk by Friday. Very good price.
  10. Fairly expensive... but it's all relative. They were more than a set of semi slicks... more than a full set of brake pads and rotors... less than a full set of race gear... less than a turbo. Bought them for weight saving... but also to get some airflow through the car.
  11. That was the rear doors in a 4 door, which didn't need to be very useable... the coupe fronts will be more challenging... need to find a balance between weight saving and usability. My main concern is how floppy they might get with the inner skin removed. I will probably need an aluminium skin to stiffen them up a bit. I only have kitchen scales that go up to 5kg so cant weigh the door glass... the lexan window is 2.8kg though. Lexan is supposed to be about 50% of the weight of glass though.
  12. yes, pre formed kit from plastics4performance... I will weigh everything for sure... including all the crap I cut out of the front doors.
  13. New rear axles and Lexan kit arrived this week Anyone know if Repco or Supercheap will have axle nuts or will I have to go to Subaru?
  14. lol. mentioning about opportunity cost when talking about saving less than $10 on a tank of fuel?
  15. If you drive without a thermostat the engine will never reach the correct operating temp on the open road... unless your radiator is blocked of course, in which case it will still over heat. I suggest you get it checked and get a new thermostat before driving it anymore.
  16. No... burn out up to start line. I've been doing them a lot, and was wondering how much more it could take before something broke.
  17. Broke a rear axle before I even got to the start line at Port Rd Sprints
  18. Yesterday I tried to check the gearbox fluid level... but dipstick had broken off! Had to drain the oil and fish it out through the drain hole.
  19. I beat that guy a few weeks back... not officially though as the club running the event can't do basic math.
  20. That's where the Evo went off. I didn't see the damage as they just left it there for the whole day. Too far down to tow back up. The car is going well... the driver needs to be more consistent though.
  21. Sunday sprint. 2nd in class and 4th overall. I felt slightly better about being beaten by an Evo when it crashed.
  22. Can anyone find out or know the part number for a brake master cylinder for a GC8078772? jp-carparts, partsouq and Subaru NZ being unhelpful. Actually, might have found it. 26401FA040. Can anyone verify?
