  1. release bearing is my guess. get someone to watch the fork when the pedal is in... see if it's moving about. actually just look yourself with the pedal out... shouldn't be moving about at all.

Did you find the front bush was loaded up too much with this modification?
  3. Not today, but Sunday... HVMC autox, placed 3rd out of a large field of 53 My fastest run for the day
  4. It looks fine from the pics. No major dents. These things don't rust much and only in certain areas anyway.
  5. If it's caged then you need an authority card anyway.
  6. Ask the LVVTA directly. https://www.facebook.com/LVVTA/
  7. I have paid... not sure what confirmed means though.
  8. Unfortunately I'm not cool enough to know what those are.
  9. But an uprated fuel system would cost easily as much as a cheap turbo... and then ethanol in a road car is 100% useless. Agree on the td05 not be worth it though... especially some unknown hybrid... could be anything. Get something with proven results... i.e. a garrett or borg warner.
  10. Full boost at 4400 rpm? Looks like peak torque at 4500 to 4600. 280 kw. Seems like we're looking at a td06.
  11. Do you have the after dyno sheet at least? Who is the tuner?
  12. lols. my current car used to have some bs in the tune to make it backfire constantly off throttle. Was annoying as hell.
  13. Did you just change the exhaust when this started happening? When does the backfiring occur exactly? Any other problems with how it runs?
  14. I have a reasonably big turbo for a 2.0 and no lag. As long as I am in the correct gear for my power band
  15. Maybe they change them on regular basis. who knows.
  16. My info... they have tried many aftermarket headers... all failed... then they went to stock twin scroll headers. Success.
  17. The major noise I suspect is due to using solid bushes in the crossmember... the crossmember bushes are actually quite soft usually and so even with a hard transmission mount, there would be quite a bit of dampening.
  18. Similarly I fitted some KEIN mounts recently along with some solid spacers to replace crossmember bushes. Greatly improved shifting... it turns out some muppet used a standard impreza or legacy mount for the transmission... soft enough to bend with one hand. Anyway, the car is hellish loud now, but nothing some earplugs won't fix... the vibration is nothing to worry about.
  19. Sounds a bit odd... the hydraulics don't really get any direct heat, just ambient air temp... maybe the release bearing needs replacing or some grease?
  20. It will go for many millions I think. Would be amazing to have this thing.
