  1. why would you do that, you'd go from 180hp to 200hp for $10k
  2. I was there earlier in the week. I would recommend Suspension Tech also, he'll be able to sort them out
  3. Today I successfully got Link G4 firmware working on my G3 ecu, and ironed out a bunch of ignition bugs
  4. well it won't quite be as linear as this, but the 4wd drivetrain system is designed for half the power to go to the front and half to the back. if you send all of the power to the back, you've effectively doubled the amount of power you would normally be sending to the rear in 4 wheel. something is fundamentally wrong with your understand of how differentials work i suggest reading this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Differential_%28mechanical_device%29 and then researching viscous coupling centre differentials that most subarus employ, then how the dccd system works.
  5. i think what you want is called a 'monostable multivibrator', just trying to think if you can pick up a kit for it to make life easier at any rate, i'd try the bosch coils on the dwell you've got first and see if you get ignition misfires. Plus it's having better than having too much
  6. I thought that but have found they open much earlier, or at least start bleeding off earlier. Pretty crappy
  7. the pressure relief valve? That's set around 50psi
  8. you must be assuming they are locked closed until base pressure is reached
  9. two right hand rails as in two fuel pressure regs? they could be imbalanced causing a few mixture issues
  10. looked better with some tire blackener and a polish
  11. It is currently parked at my house, but i no longer own it. Over the stuff it already had, the new owner has upgraded the brakes, put 700hp worth of turbos on it (kept them parallel), new fuel system and G4 ecu. Absolute monster now At 8psi it spins all the tires in 3rd gear... Getting tuned for full boost next week
  12. true but the ends are housed in rubber
  13. haha, I think it's the eatass version. Geesus Americans should not try to make technology They dont reference EFI that i can see so what it's doing in this car is beyond me.. Ah well hopefully it solves my problem
  14. I see, nice one. I found a random non-oem looking device up there called a 'boost-a-pump'. no idea who installed that or when... i think this thing will be going in the bin! http://www.kennebell.net/accessories/boostapump/boostapump.htm
  15. yes, or even to confirm it exists and is causing my fuel flow issue this is a good start. bypass mod coming right up
  16. Is that a sedan or wagon? does it matter? Going to look in the boot now... Is the panel on the floor or on the side? I dont see anything behind either fuel tank hatch if that's what you mean?
  17. Anyone know if B4 legacys have fuel pump speed controllers? If so where they're located? I suspect they do and it's by the steering column, but there is another mysterious box behind where the lighter socket is... Also anyone have a wiring diagram for these things? Pref with the loom layout in it Thanks
  18. I prefer the AP front diff over the helical It's much more active
  19. certainly does upset them if it's too close about 30cm away or after a bend in the pipe sorts them out.
  20. i wondered about this ages ago, tested aftermarket fans on both power wires and couldnt see any discernible speed difference between the two. I'm not sure if this is because it was switched by the Link ecu though...
