  1. I put ours into neutral, car cant move when not in drive. Had it happen when the vacuum hose to the booster failed, car moved forward and hit car in front, no damage but ever since that day have never trusted autos at lights.
  2. so tempted to take kids along, they could play in the bubbles , thats thier bath for the day ;D, and since some low life stole my hose , getting the car washed would be awsome to ;D.
  3. and are you a MTA certified machanic? if not no warranty!
  4. It wont be AMG running the cars, SBR will be working the cars but a new millionaire who loves these cars and runs them in another series will own the cars, AMG wont enter but have put restrictions on the team so they have a say in who sponsors the cars and colours and what not.
  5. ive used braso, got it from wifes cupbroad so cost was nothing, come up mint, also used really fine wet and dry and finished off with braso on one of the plastic lights as was really bad.
  6. as said before post counts wont stop someone from shafting a sale, and clubsub cant be held responsable for someone elses actions, even though it is an easy option to!. even trade me has bad sales, if you do your homework a little. see where they post and what they have posted, make an infromed decision as to weather you yourself can trust that person enough to trade, if it dont feel or look right then dont trade, i am with johnnynz, if it went paid members only, it would end up being the same parts being moved from one shed to the other.
  7. Engage warp drive You will need to install gull wing doors for effect, and also make it fly, just in case when you get there, there isn't any roads.
  8. that is awesome! a lot of subarus in one location?

  11. Yeah BNT are good, Repco talk to I think her name is Amanda, cant quite remember but she is the best they have, and that comes from alot of the mechanics that have had to get the odd part from there.
  12. On that I am using BNT in hastings as they got it right, so give them a call.
  13. told them 1997 bd5 twin turbo facelift model, and it is an auto, with no aftermarket modifcations done to it, will whip the wheel off and mesaure up tonight when i get home, its anyone guess as to what is behind the wheels. I usually over kill on info as dont have much time on hand to mess around with wrong parts and sending the wife in to pick up the parts I ned to make sure that it is right coming from the shelf.
  14. Just getting fronts at this stage rears later, for a 1997 bd5 legacy, have rang supercheap, Repco and BNT, all of them have it down as different sizes from each other? I know that sometimes it isn't clear cut but surely to run that many different sizes is mind boggling and when questioned it just stumped them all. Even Bayswater just gave me a part number, they couldn't even give me a size.
  15. Just getting routes now, but they all seem to be different size disks, one say I need 270, another says 266, and another tells me the 294 size disks, so need to take wheel off and measure disk before going any further, sometimes I wonder how these guys in parts departments get jobs.
  16. Sweet, thanks for the info guys, will hit up BNT and Repco and see who is the best on price.
  17. So needing to buy new disks and pads, after looking around and noticing many different brands, also cross drilled, slotted, who makes the best rotor for dollar spent. will use the car for track days where possible and wife will still need to drive the kids to school the very next day. Ideas?
  18. Could be keen, save myself the hassle, sunroof needs removing and touch up on some rust, couple of dents need to be popped back out and bumpers need a coat. Could be keen to catch up so you can have a look and let me know what you think.
  19. Which bayswater subaru you go to and who you speak to?
