Lolz, in Wellington it cost about $25 a wheel if that, to sand blast, never had any complaints, ever. Must be using moon sand or something if it costs and arm and a leg. If it costs too much, find an industrial sand blaster

I personally hate acid (do not acid dip if magnesium alloy) get it soda blasted if you can justify spending the $, sand blasting is OK, but make sure all sand residue is gone if your powder coating again, sand+heat=pits in the powder

So it appears the hills are alive with Christmas this year, so thought we could do a little cruise around and see all the crazy cool Christmas lights people have put on. Looking at Wednesday night? Meet along Oriental bay or Clyde quay wharf round 8ish, get some photos parked up, then cruise onto see some lights. Keeping in mind it's not dark till 9ish There appears to be a massive cluster in Whitby, so go to some smaller ones then end up there. Or do a loop from town, to Whitby then back over the Hayward's for some in the Hut then end up at petone waterfront.
