  1. It's happening but Alex wants to get the workshop at 100% before anything official happens. But as Jason said he will look after any Clubsub members. Highly recommended.
  2. I'd be very surprised if it mated up to the flange and hangers. Can be made to fit very easily at any decent exhaust shop.
  3. It won't be a direct bolt on. Presume you mean the rear section as the 95 RS is a Twin Turbo.
  4. If you don't think the type of car has anything to do with it then your dreaming. The specification of the car will affect the drivers attitude.
  5. If your going to see Koom then take your pistons as well and ask him. What year STI were they out of?
  6. No marks on the crown of the piston or the underside?
  7. You will have to look into head gasket thickness and/or WRX heads. Otherwise no issues running them. The cross hatching indicates that they are a cast piston.
  8. not %100 true, i had one rebuilt for my brothers bh, it was around 420, and that was a non adjustable shaft type at trade.... they did say it was unsually expensive for some of the bits in it tho. Put it down to being more charismatic When I was quoted in Wellington that was the price. Could be a model difference with mine being Super Streets that are one of three main models offered.
  9. Early Legacy's are 50/50. 60/40 front to rear under power.
  10. Likewise. Very nearly bought some Hollow Group A cams for mine, but that leads to engine management.
  11. Nobody has ever tried to push number through early heads for that reason.
  12. The bleeder is the top hose directly at the radiator cap.
  13. Really should be the first modification to truly enjoy these cars.
  14. Either you use OE ones for the Alloy arms. Or you buy the Whiteline spherical links.
  15. It will be a sequential setup. You can buy this to adapt to a OE 5MT.
  16. Autolign rebuild Teins. Worse case $350 per unit.

    ECU Question

Don't see why not. Provided it has the hardware. The transmission is controlled separately.
  18. My Rs type R had 50mm or 55mm lowered Whiteline springs with BOGE shocks that had the shafts pro shortened to captive the spring. It was ridiculously low. When I went up in rim size I had clearance issues at all four corners. Lowering alone will not yield any handling benefit; quite the opposite. From memory King lowered springs were 40mm and the Super lows were 50mm? Look into whether they will remain captive in the strut.
  19. MY96 WRX according to his initial posts.
  20. They are the same Semi tuned length that are mentioned in this thread. These. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Car-parts-accessories/Subaru/Other/auction-295316249.htm To be fair they were bought in 2nd hand condition.
  21. So a faster time with a driver suited to Dry tarmac? Say a Tarmac specialist rally driver?
  22. Your the racer. Since when do damp conditions equal a faster lap? Do you not think he would have gotten a better time on dry conditions?
  23. You could try Bosch Motor sport leads, they will have something model specific for yours, better technology. I don't think anybody could quote a figure or tangible feeling from different leads unless one was stuffed. I use Bosch Super Sports which are their standard leads. Available off the shelf at Super cheap with various lengths and plug ends. You can get thicker custom leads made up, but only really needed if you have some sort of inadequacy in spark due to the lead thickness or in your pants.
