  1. Do you know if the up-pipe's are catted?? Me and gotasuby were debating that, good point. And no, SAS on here has a front cover that I bought off him. I was looking at a Chinugawa front cover though beforehand. I should also start a garage thread, good excuse to get the camera out.
  2. You could do what I'm currently doing with my Version 8: - TD05H-16G with a straight inlet (or VF series turbo) - MAC 3 port boost solenoid - Downpipe Then get a retune. Your ECU should be reflashable. 4 pots with nice pads STi shocks + springs 22mm rear sway bar Go have some fun
  3. Today I dropped off my TD05 to be sent off to get checked out before a potential rebuild.
  4. http://www.mitre10.co.nz/shop/safety_security/fire_safety/quell_1kg_fire_extinguisher_223125/ Cheap.
  5. Best to PM Raydeo as he is the new secretary, or EVOWRX, the VP.
  6. Yeah, it'd be that I can't do anything until payday So until then, nothing fun is happening
  7. I may give Armstrongs a bell and see if they can give me a part number for it.
  8. $60 inc shipping from partsouq. Armstrongs are apparently $90. I'm sure Repco/Supercheap will sell an aftermarket brand for cheapish.
  9. Rug doctored my car on the weekend. Where it was most effective was on the head lining. I did a really really crap job, but in the parts where I used it, the ciggy smell vanished. I would go halve with a friend or two. You'll have your done done in less than an hour and a half.
  10. This is the part code for an OEM filter. If you check Amazon/Ebay, you can get aftermarket brands for cheaper prices. I got mine from Partsouq for $60 NZD shipped. Shipping took a week. Where the screws are. There is one plastic screw bit on the passengers side of the dash. I would locate and remove this first. I personally left the very top middle screw in place until I had taken the other screws out, so it didn't fall on me. This little compartment houses the filter. Try to be gentle when unhooking the tabs, I used a little too much force and broke the left side one. Oh well, no one will notice. You may find the filter itself has a snug fit. I wasn't shy and pulled it out and popped the new one in without much care. The filter will deform and pop back into shape. Old vs new.
  11. Replaced the cabin filter today. Where the screws are. There is one plastic screw bit on the passengers side of the dash. Old vs new.
  12. Could be keen to go to Diamond Harbour for a coffee?
  13. June (atm) is full April looks to have spots
  14. I used Fuchs Titan Super Gear 75w90 recently - thanks to Damo. Castrol 75w90 did the job Valoline 75w90 also did the job.
  15. Pulled out the centre console to see why the stereo wasn't sitting flush.. it wasn't screwed in at all. FML. Pulled it out.. saw the wiring, a chocolate block with all the wires hanging half out, ****. But wait.. the power wire has been stripped, the bare wires twisted together and then to top it off.. CELOTAPED> So I soldered that back up. Oddly enough, after all of this, the speakers sound a lot better.
  16. Oh too kind! Cheers. I've added it to the watch and to do list.
  17. PM SAS on here, he might have something for ya.
  18. Cool. Might email STA parts, or is it STM who give a wee CS kickback? Also, does anyone know if the Version 7/8 WRX and STi under manifold intakes are the same?
