rotating the turbo compressor housing would make a huge difference to the look.....
and might shorten the piping a tad...
but good stuff bro 8)...
will post a pic of mine tomorrow too dark out to get one now
Nar black is cooler
i rekn silver looks better also.....and its a really easy colour to match,
i painted my front/rear kits, side skirts/vent/scoops and spoilers all myself with a some spray cans......
and you can barely notice any diff....Pic in sig
Yeah mines a version 6 RA
havent found out what it is yet but im thinking its not too important........
as the loom i went to put in is a RA loom so im thinking its something that is on the standard wrx's but removed in the RA's,
unsure if the sti's have them though
is yours a RA??? had a look at the pic in your thread.....and my plug sorta sits by the one in your pics...
i also have that plug....and it seems from what i can see in the pic, you dont have my plug in your car ???
do you know what exactly is diff between the V1/2 and the V3 loom??
i always thought it was only the afm plug that was diff between them and it was the V4 when they changed the knock sensor plug???.......
im thinking it may have something to do with the aiir con maybe?????if so then i could leave it unplugged ???
im still unsure....it comes from the fire wall to that plug...
which plugs into the manifold loom.....cant see it gooing anywhere else ???
i also thought that the knock sensor plug only becomes a issuse if you go from a V1/2 loom to a V4+ loom..
but V1-3 were the same i thought ???
this is where it comes out the fire wall...
went to put my RA engine loom in today and found that my original loom has an extra plug on it which my RA loom doesnt have....anyone have any idea whats its for and if its needed??? because i didnt know what it is i left my original loom on till i can confirm what it is and if its needed...
heres a pic of the plug....
chur 8)
when using these with braided lines do the dash fittings need to be sealed off some how after screwing them on ???
or are they simple plug and play...meaning can i just screw them on tight and leave it at that or will they leak that way ??? ???
smokin4 use the original turbo uppipe bracket engine bolts & have a piece of 8-10mm thick stainless or mild steel either flat or rod with a thick heavy washer welded onto the bolted end made to fit/welded to the uppipe, thats how i had planned on mounting it up, looks good man 8)
chur for that info there bra! will post up how i do, when i do 8)
