Dont they have alloy bonnets as well? Lifted the bonnet on my mates rev D B4 and it felt a hell of a lot lighter than my rev B bonnet

Ditch the stickers, paint it a stealth colour and put the wing back then it would be nice..

Hey guys, Just bought a genuine air filter from subaru yesterday, but the thing seems bloody oily compared to other makes (fram etc). Does the oil on them not effect the AFM?

120 is rather rough for plastic probably start with 400 (maybe a little less) followed by some 1000. Sanding will take aaaaggges though. By far the quickest way is to use a urethane safe paint stripper. Spray on wait 1-2 mins.... scrub off. Job done

Thats why i thought it was wider than stock because the rear arch appears to come up to the bottom of the fuel flap but when looking at the picture of the side of the car it appears to be quite flat. Reflections making the arch look bigger than normal?

Na that rare flare looks quite a bit wider... its quite well done though as it blends in nicely edit: could just be reflections playing tricks with me looks wide on a certain angle but not from another lol

Yep my 99 legacy suffered chrome peel.. very common Wingers had replacement grills on TM for $120 ish I just removed the flaking chrome then primed it then painted gloss black

Ive got a zerosports intake for sale if your keen.... It does change the intake sound from the stock pipe... apparently makes the stock BOV louder too.. Cant confirm this this as ive got a SSQV one though

AFAIK the standard piping is 2.5" (im assuming its a twin turb). Easiest thing would probably be to a 3'' diff back aftermarket exhaust that bolts up to your factory mid pipe. there are lots of cheap second hand ones floating around.

ok thanks, CEL definitely does not appear with ign on so either bulb has gone (seems unlikely) or wire has been cut. Tried to bring up the codes (black connectors right?) but nothing flashed.. Is it still possible to reset the ECU by connecting green and black plugs and taking it for a slow drive? Car must be in limp mode as it will only boost to 9psi before the boost drops back

Bit of a random question.. Does the "Check Engine" light come on when you turn the ignition fully on before starting? I just noticed it doesnt light up on my B4 with the ignition on...Normal? Hope some previous idiot hasnt gone and cut it Cheers

I tried to fit a GC8 carbon fibre brace to my B4 but as SpotMe said the mounts collide with the firewall. You could probably hack it to get it to fit but it was in tidy nick so I resold it

98 for sure. I run mine on 95 most of time as its all get normally but certainly use 98 if available. Detonation is not your friend

Ive tried lots of private wreckers but most say they dont have any (even though you can see them in the pictures : ) For them trying to remove them and get them shipped is just to much of a hassle i guess
