    WHOA!!

Read in the Press that they finish being related to the first quake after 3 weeks of "background, nominal activity" which in our case means 3 weeks with nothing above 2.2 magnitude. And by god I'm glad I came to Blenheim for Xmas! ;D
  2. NOTHIS? PIGSTI? ILVGLD? NORIMS? X35LNA? (use mirror)
  3. I once went in Mag& Turbo for a nosey and once I told them I had Brembos, it limited the choice to about 5 sets if I didn't want to wait for shipping or custom sets. So I too feel the pain.
  4. May have already sold in the old $1 reserve "this auction is for one wheel nut" auction?
  5. Would increasing diameter screw with the accuracy of AFM? This is the reasoning behind why I haven't bothered making my own adapter. Am I very very wrong?
  6. Agree with above statement of treating officers with maturity and respect. I've been pulled over frequently, yet never ticketed due to never breaking road laws. Sometimes you will get a heavy handed approach from an officer when he first approaches you but is easy to disarm the manner of him by treating them as you would like to be treated. Think both cops were ok in OP as no tickets were issued. 2nd cop may have thought he was helping you out.
  7. It's embarrassing owning a Subaru when every time you're at some lights, a little punk wants to give you a go. Even though it's the little punk that roars off at speed, you end up tarred with the same brush.

  9. Man I worked for mobil for 5 years and back in my day the Delvac range was diesel oil! May have changed though. Their mobil Super S oil has changed name 6 times in 10 years. Think was 15W-40?

Or how about have it trimmed in white vinyl? Christchurch styles!!
  11. I just have one clear one now. Hacked up drivers side for CAI. Those vents in OP are tasty as though. Nicer than what I made. Hmmmm..... The search is on.
  12. Not forgetting that the size of today's blowers on them would make it pretty dam difficult to see over top of.
  13. Mine split on top just to right of cap. On a join. The usual place for fail apparently.
  14. Fed Neville, the pet spider who lived in my driver's door mirror but migrated to inside the car for some warmth.
  15. Have you not noticed how pregnant she is at the mo? I'd rather be in a confined space with the blonde part-time weathergirl But on the rare occasions when she's not knocked up.... CRIKEY YES PLEASE!!
  16. I have also read this same thing. Whats the price difference between the two? Would it be a saving by going with the copper over the long run?
  17. my V7, total stock under the hood, has been running 1.42kg/cm or 20psi all the time. My mechanic also said should be 16 - 18 psi. I'm not complaining though
  18. Or statistically speaking, due to the high amount of Subarus on NZ roads of course their presence in workshops will be above others.
  19. I like to throw out the "try driving a rotary every day and compare reliability then" but will usually just reply with "and which sheep mob discussion did you catch the tail end of to come away with that assumption?"
  20. MY01 for me; however I am a nana and never needed oodles of grip. If you take on track at all go T1R but MY01 good "touring" tyre.
  21. Confirmed that gasket under ICV is toast. Mere formality inspecting it. Just follow trail of coolant! Time for a new one.
  22. Shoulda rammed him square up the arse of his precious Porsche!! Fully wouldve been worth the excess on your insurance. Just say he was only doing 60km and his brake lights weren't working. If you nail him hard enough, the bulbs will break destroying a chance to prove you wrong.
  23. Possibly the power (or lack there of) from 1.5 was being matched by power of wind resistance? Or the auto just didn't decide on the correct gear.
  24. And this is why we switched to the bloody metric system in the 60's!!! 15" x 6" is the size of my trouser tent! Lol.
