  1. Ya better off using the money and fixing your old turbo to those specs that thing will break on ya sooner or later
  2. Ive been running the bosch equivalent for a while now and have had no problems what so ever not sure of the number but the equivalent of the pfr7g I think
  3. Yup change that oil and go from there ... Do you know how to flat shift without the clutch?? If ya do try it and see if it crunches then

  5. Didnt think commercially sold oil caught fire with all the additives in it and car was stock as a rock

I got my bearing kit from Auto stop the kit contained 2 seals and the bearing which was an NSK I\'d presume the genuine Subaru one would be NSK also both being Japanese.I perused Ebay and saw 2 other kits on with Timkin bearings and the other Saeco (excuse the spelling on both those if they are incorrect) .All up the job was done in about 3 hours in total I caught it before the casings obliterated themselves althought the spline had evidence of bearing chatter. I took the hubs in to work pressed the bearings out stripped the grease out of the new bearings and replaced it with a very high temp grease a red synthetic lithium based mobil type cant remember which at the moment because the spline also showed evidence of high temperatures or so the old guy at work reckons The hardest part was finding a socket peice the same size as the bearing to push it out totally an easy job to do with the right gear and if ya go get trade prices at auto stop cheap as fark

  11. Looks like its bearing onlytried getting hub replacement through autostop apparently only oem which made me cry :\'(
  12. Got the dreaded whoop whoop whoop noise coming from the drivers side. At first it was just while turning and I thought the shoulders on the front tires were scalloped out till I rotated and the noise remained BUMMER. Anyway I haven\'t got access to a press to get the bearing out is there any other method at home that I can get em out??? Or am I kidding myself and just fork out for 2 new hubs?? Anyone know the retail on those??

  15. Finally installed the new rotors and pads that have sat waiting for 6 months ;D ;D

  17. Finally got some time this weekend to do my brakes went with these on the brembo set up anyone had any experience with these? Says no bedding in on the pads Will I still need to bed in the rotors???
