  1. I saw that blue one on Trademe come up today.. I knew it wouldn't last long at that price haha. They are 170kw atw stock. At least mine and another member's were, within 1kw of each other.
  2. Nah the car came with the Genomes, but I've been told that one of the fronts are showing signs of leaking, so I've been after a replacement before my next WOF
  3. I'm also looking at getting these, as I need the genomes for the front to match my existing ones. The genome rears don't seem to sag all that much, maybe they are set up a bit differently.
  4. The ones I used on this are Whiteline ones that I bought 2nd-hand.. however I also have Whiteline links on the front bar which I bought new, with the bar.
  5. Yeah actually after some more googling, found the answer. There's a flat section next to the boot that a 14mm spanner goes onto. Sorted it.
  6. So.. a bit of a problem. When I turn the nuts to remove the sway bar links, the bolts turn inside the links. Normally the bolts would have a hex-key fitting inside them which you then put a spanner over, but these don't have those holes. The other side is metal so there's no hex fitting there either. How the heck am I supposed to remove these things so I can swap the bar? I have whiteline links to replace these, so if I have to munt them, so be it.
  7. Yes I've used Fenix before... I'd rate them as a reputable brand over Redline / Scarles. There's a place in Auckland which many of their local members use.. Silverdale I think?
  8. Yeah I hear you with the slackness too lol.. I was meaning to organise something for this week, but failed. Could be keen for this, but may have to wait until closer to the day if i can make it.
  9. Have also heard Dry Ice is very effective, but not done it myself. Perhaps google youtube for vids?
  10. Doesn't the current 97.5 offering use a part-ethanol blend? So this would be pure 98 RON, with no ethanol?
  11. Depending on how many gauges you are including in that, the Defi gear isn't cheap new. $400 a gauge in shops. There's a set of 4 gauges and control unit for $1300 on Trademe... that's an indicative price. Sets of 3 normally go for about 900-1000.
  12. Rick in Upper Hutt, does Subaru servicing from home as opposed to a workshop, so up to you if you want to go down that road. If you want his number, PM me
  13. Electronic, definitely. Also be sure you get the right pod size to fit your gauges. You don't want to get the above pod, if your gauges are 60mm hahaha. Or figure out what pod you are getting first, then get the right size gauges to suit. It's probably easier that way.
  14. Also +1 for Drews Automotive. You'll be looking for a combo like this: http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-accessories/subaru/clutches/auction-1052989022.htm Or he may offer you other options of an even further upgraded clutch cover, organic or ceramic clutch etc etc. I got that exact combo for mine, except it was for a 2.5L instead of 2.0L
  15. That ATI one is the same style as Defi, and the visor-style removes the reflection that you'll get of the gauges on the windscreen. I've also got one which is very similar, but Zero/sports: https://carousell.com/p/17318055/ It doesn't have the visors though.
  16. Whoever uses their course-related costs on study materials these days? Don't think that's ever changed in the *almost* 20 years since I was at Uni hahaha
  17. I don't think there is a thread to provide answers of what suspension fits what model cars, out of different models, so I'll start with one I just saw. Please only put something in here that you know is 100% legit. If there is another thread, then I've missed it.. oops! Mods, please sticky this into the Mega FAQ thread - http://clubsub.org.nz/forum/showthread.php?46299-ClubSub-Technical-MEGA-FAQ-*Beta* Suspension from a BD Legacy, fits into a BC Legacy, with a swap of the rear tophats.
