  1. My flipped manifold is one of those cut and weld jobs as I've modified even that I'm using thermal spacers so needed to lower the center a bit more for clearance
  2. Hi all, I'm looking at moving my top tank as I'm in the middle of doing a twisted turbo setup and I'm well aware that many have had to do the same. I've just got a couple of questions before approaching mine as Google hasn't really given me the answers / information i really needed. 1. Where has you relocated your to? 2. Did you take into consideration about air flow & heat under the bonnet? Would these influence the temperature of the system? 3. Mounting height would need to be higher than the rest of the cooling system correct? (bleeding wise) 4. Your Do & Don't and any tips that would make life easier? Thanks in advance for any help, man what an average day weather wise :'(
  3. Nice Stoffa, you must be stoked with that?. I know you were aiming for 250kw so not that far off it.

  6. Plus i would highly recommend getting genuine washers as well if you want to do a good job. Sometime they leak because the washers are so squeezed they can't keep pressure

  9. FYI - I have a set of those extractors and you should have a slight rumble at idle and under 1500RPM. Also mine are for sale for anyone looking at purchasing a set.
  10. You're right sir, purge control solenoid hose runs from the manifold, NOT the throttle body. I stand corrected [quote name='insanity007 said: I noticed this was plugged up on my mrs. car (we got it like that) and I wonder why it would be? I would check it out as it should be connected to the fuel pressure regulator. What i suggest is check out were your current regulators is connected to and see where your plugged pipe goes.
  11. Servicing really depends on how much money you wish to spend on it and the condition of the current engine. If you are happy with it then just a normal service will do. 100K service i would replace the cambelt, oil and water pump and all the seals (oil pump, cam seals as a minimum. IF YOU WANT --> To spend even more money If you are looking at doing your head gasket then i would suggest going all the way.. doing a full strip down, measure and put back together with new main / big end bearings and rings. Have the bore checked etc
  12. hahahha check out the number plate, another quality build ben ;D ;D ;D Your all just jealous Actually seeing that makes me want to have my forum name changed

  14. Hi, Am looking at purchasing some seats and harnesses for the WRX which is mainly going to be used for motorsport purposes. What brand / type / model do you recommend? Please note that the car isn't caged but will be within the year so I'm looking for something that can be mounted to the body as well as cage. ATM i'm looking at Racetech seats (1000 , 4000 etc) Thanks

  17. Calling all experts. Does anyone know what the 4 relays are for on the driver side top corner? Im relooming my car and wanting to remove as much wiring as possible so if i dont need it its going. Im assuming these relays will be fuel pump, rad fan?? Also the relay in the engine bay by the strut tower is for air conditing right?
