Can you hear ALL fuel pumps prime? My Corolla died last week and was checking for fuel/spark and noticed I can't hear my pump but then again I can't remember whether I ever heard it.

Check AFM aswell, don\'t always throw codes.

Unplug the AFM while its running. If the car stops, its fine. If it continues to run, its buggered. I had this exact same problem with my GC8, can\'t remember exactly but my TPS was gummed, AFM shit and vac lines going to the boost solenoid wrong (not sure if that would effect idle though)

Insurance for it is cheaper than you think. It has no mods that Southsure and AMI and the like wouldnt insure. Ive never had a prob with it...in fact its cheaper to insure than my old hiace and my current legacy. 21. 5 demerits left for being a retard. If its still there in 4 years I'll come knocking
