Link LEM G3 wiring with 4 single coils

Ok the G3 has 4 ignition drives, I want to use 4 seprate coils rather than my current wasted spark set up.

Looking at sample wiring options in the G3 wiring instructions they normally use 2 chanels to fire wasted spark and the remaining 2 chanels for fuel pump relay and Engine fan relay.

If I use one ignition drive for each coil, how/where would I wire in the fuel pump and fan relays?

Talk to optical he just went to 4 seperate gdb? coils i think on his g3. I was there assisting him when he fired it up.

You will need 2 spare auxailiarys to run the fuel pump and electic fans.

more often then not you will have a couple left over, but it does vary with setups.

sweet, wasn't too sure if I can use the normal aux outputs.

i'll try to pop in with my list of inputs/outputs this week jeff and see what you think, need to use 4 outputs on the bloody v5 ICS

FYI, unless you intend to run antilag then you can use two ignition outputs to drive the four coils. Still wasted spark but using coil on plug

I'll be using 4 seprate coils with built in igniters, so I guess I'll need all 4 ignition drives for that

you can still run it wasted spark. have the 2 front cyl go to ign1 and back 2 coils go to ign 2 then set up in PC link as wasted spark

the plan is to use LS1 coils from a holden as recommended by shred, do you guys think it'll be much better than the factory wasted spark setup?

LS1 coils are the most powerful coils you can get without going to expencive CDI setup.

LS1 coils are also the same/very similar as MSD coils, just not painted red and not as expencive

Stock wasted spark is fine depending on the setup,

Munkvy who runs stock 4x coils on his RS has a bit of ingniton issues that has limited how much boost and power we could have got out of it previously.

You would have spoken to Aaron our tuner.

We do always reccomend going for the best/cost effective ingniton setup as the last thing you want is ingnition issues limiting how your car performs.
