Young people may do stupid s*** but bloody hell.

Age really changes nothing but people's perceptions - a drunken, angry, know-it-all idiot on the cusp of violence is the same with or without wrinkles and a beer belly.

We just expect young men to do stupid sh!t, then grow out of it.

Those that are supposed to know better seem even worse because we're meant to look up to these morons.

Speaking of which, people like MY FATHER that think it's alright to drive home after a few irritate the living crap out of me. I give him death every time I catch him doing it. Problem is, all his mates do it, so he can't be seen pansying out and getting dropped off/picked up ::)

Young people do this sh!t because they're too retarded to think of the consequences of their actions - the cause and effect part of the human brain isn't fully developed until early/mid 20's. Older people do this sh!t because they think they are more skilled, wiser, and can GET AWAY WITH IT.

Ditto with the rage stick, buddy. Ditto with the rage stick.

Meh, if he makes it home without killing anyone, whats there to complain about? You want him to yell at you every time you exceed the speed limit?

There are scratches and dents on the corners of his car, and he's not a hit stuff kind of driver when he's sober.

Again, driving home drunk (not tipsy, drunk) is not cool.

But I take it from your statements there that you're both fine with the idea.

I'm sure our resident cops will be interested to know.

I'm sure they wouldn't give a flying fuck.

Its not cool, but people talk so much shit on the internet (reference V5 gearbox speed thread).

I had 2 beers and drove last night. What ya gonna do.

I'm sure they would give more than just a flying f***, fulla. I hardly doubt you'll get a knock on your door, but attitudes expressed across the internet say much about your character.

But I guess that's what we get for marketing campaigns, yes? 'Speeding' will kill you the moment you step 5km/h over the dial, but as long as no one dies, boozing and driving is sweet as.

OK OK, i'll bite.

When the law says a few is ok, hence there being a limit, then a few is ok. You can argue peoples ability to handle a few, or a few doz. But the fact that there is a limit shows that NZ and society accept that a few drinks are acceptable.

Hows that 6 speed and brembos going.

For the record, i wish this thread was about drunk older WOmen.

Did I condemn you for having what, two beers? No. But thanks for putting the words in my mouth, thems tasty.

Words that DID come from my mouth though...

I hate repeating myself. Please lern2read before you 'bite'. Your northern brain has far more thinking capacity, please wait and let it kick in :)

Front Brembos, for the record, are going on soon. I'm over waiting. Just need to sort the GDB master and some rotors. ;)

Edit: highlighted the bit you missed.

sleeper hold ftw!

this guy was either really weak or really drunk cause it wasn't that hard to pull him off.

I only like to hold them back rather than use the rear naked choke hold in case I was to squeeze to tight or to long...

Don't sweat it Paul, turns out some men have their period all at once just like women :P I'm hardly bothered, same sh!t different bucket from this lot.

Gerrit. I'm sure most people know what 'drunk' and 'tipsy' feel like. I'm sure most people can tell the difference between 'just a few' and 'just a few too many'. The law states that there is a limit, and this is set in such a fashion that you can't be what normally qualifies as drunk, ie intoxicated, not completely in control of all your faculties...and step behind the wheel of a tonne of metal. I don't care whether the retard behind the wheel dies, as most of the time they are too relaxed to cause themselves any serious damage. It's the innocent mum and kids going down the road that tense up right before impact that die. But you know this.

Someone that's merely had a few is able to keep to a lane and react when crazy sh!t happens in front of them. Someone that is what is generally accepted as 'drunk', cannot.

I'm not debating whether or not you should get KAPOW out of nowhere for daring to sniff a tasty beer before driving. I'm stating that driving over the limit is illegal. It's illegal for a reason. Just because you didn't get caught, just because non one died, doesn't make it okay. Thinking of more than just yourselves - what about the others on the road? What about your family, if you get maimed? What about your mates, if you die?

As for calling you southern...I could have, but let's face it...some of us make personal attacks because we're out of juice, others do not ;)

Most people do know what getting drunk / being tipsy are. However you didnt differentiate in your statement and got all high and mighty.

I agree with you 100% about driving pissed up.

As Gerrit said, it is acceptable to have a few and drive in the correct circumstances. If it werent we would have a ZERO TOLERANCE for drink driving.

If you are that upset about it report your old man to the cops.

It's a wee bit late when he finally gets home - at often weird times - nothing the Police can do, it just wastes their time. This is why I get so angry about it. He gets away with it!

I've even offered to pick him up and drop him off at said horrendous times to avoid having him crash into something/someone...but no, too much pride involved.

And no, I didn't differentiate. I apologise. He comes home in varying degrees of borderline through to HOW THE HELL DID YOU GET BACK HERE ALIVE... trust me, when he finally gets done for it, he'll deserve every bit of punishment forthcoming.

Last night was a few, apparently (just came back from giving him death)...but yes, sometimes he can come home smashed.

"You know, one day you guys are all going to get caught. And to be honest, I'm going to laugh." Hope he thinks about that.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
