Td05h 16g oil feed bangos

Got a td05h 16g for my single turbo conversion couldnt find any true info as to sizes in mm

i need to know the size of the bango bolt holes (where the oil flows through) are

the size of feed for the bango bolt on the CHRA(top of turbo)

and the size of feed coming from the head

12mm and 14mm i think. i made a line for someone, cant remember who but im sure these were the sizes. what size are the threads? i could tell you if you know the thread size.

no i dont mean the bolt sizes or the thread size i mean the feeds like the small hole that feeds the turbo from the line (at the turbo end) and the larger hole (at the head end)

the hole that is drilled through the side to feed the oil

oh, the restrictor? i drilled them out to 1.2mm they were 0.8mm factory

Lol, when I fitted my TD05 (replacing the VF10) I knew the hole was supposed to be larger, but no-one could tell me how much larger. So I put a 3mm drill bit right through it, as in both sides. Plenty of oil to the core now. Doesn't smoke either. ;D

haha, if in doubt, drill it out!

cos the bolt i have i got from an early model rs gt motor and it has around 3.5-4mm hole and then i pulled another from a v3-v4 style motor and it was the same size in the head bango and the other end i have has around 1.2-1.6 mm hole in the turbo

anyone on here with a car with td05h 16g standard?

found this looks like the bango in head is the larger hole like the one i found and the smaller on the turbo

I'm pretty sure they're all the same at the head end.

The bolt for my TD05, admittedly an evo one with a subaru rear housing, had pretty much no restrictor. Its like a 6mm hole.

So what is the verdict on this for a standard TD05H?

Does anyone know if the restrictor on the banjo (turbo end) is the same as a TD04?

I think the verdict is you need to use a bolt ;D

From my personal experience the VF series ones are smaller than the TD series

The TD04 and TD05 have the same diameter flow

ok from what i have found out the head end is about 5-6mm and the restrictor on the turbo is 1.5mm please correct me if im wrong

Sounds about right. Drill them both out just to be sure. ;D
