i remember this car had blown the big ends at Laws road, then it got replace with a 2.5? but the motor that was in looks like a forester motor with TD04

san did u manage to get any pics of the underneath pistons wen the sump was off?

no point using a "forged" block with kak pistons. im no rocket scientist but an engine is probibly only as strong as its weakest component...piston/rod/bearing.....

can u hook it up if u have any more pics, pref with the piston at bottom of the stroke... might be some casting marks or something to ID them

na i didnt take anymore photos of the pistons. there was no point we know what a wrx pistons look like., if u come to my place i got lots of shortblock and bucket full of wrx pistons and lots of old timing belt

we just put in what was suply to us and do what we were told to do, essemble the motor, get it going

the person that you got the motor off dont know what a phase 1 or 2 engine are but then calling themself a engine speciallist and said that he been building motors for years and know his shit about subaru.

and i asked if that motor will fit into your car and said yes

everyone know what a phase one and two motor is that ever rebuild EJ20
