yeah but in other countries if you're waiting in the middle of the road to turn right and there's a car coming towards you who is going to turn left into the same street, they will sometimes flash you to let you go first. it's only when there's a stream of traffic heading straight that the person turning left will take it anyway (which happens here anyway ... usually) i guess it just takes out that indecisiveness that occurs.

It doesnt appear to create major issues in other countries, just here there are too many idiots given licenses way before they are ready, immigrants that can barely speak english and cannot read it, so have no idea on most road rules.

And then there are the tourists..... one set of americans ask me how can they remember to drive on the left side of the road, hmmmm by giving me those keys and catching a bus :)
