1996 wrx brakes.

i have just bought myself a 96 wrx and am wanting to know what size rotors i have on it i believe the Disc Diameter is (front 294mm) and (rear 266mm) but dont know if this is correct as i am looking to upgrade to either 4 pot sti or go a little further and track down a set of 6 pots. can anyone help me out and put me in the right direction on rotor size and best possible upgrade package??

294mm i think is V3/4/5 STI disc size

A set of STI 4 pot calipers & rotors will set you back anywhere from $300 to $500

Later model STI BREMBOs will cost a lot more,into the 1000s i would guess

6 Pot XYZ setup starts around 2.5k

You will need correct wheels to suit even the 4pots

hi, ive got a v2 sti and tried to fit 4pots but could not fit under my gold 16in sti rims so will need bigger wheels to fit unless you want to add spacers and longer studs which i would presume is illegal. so might decide to sell the 4pots and rotors i have which i have redone the seals in the calipers also have new brake pads. and also painted them blue but have sortof damaged the new paint trying to fit them so might need to be repainted.

Yes,as the V2s didnt have 4pots,the STi 16's dont clear,the the V3 with the gold STi 16s will clear but not the std silver wrx ones

how much are you looking to sell them for very interested as i want to upgrade do you have a picture of them?
