circuit needed

i need a circuit that does the following:

have an input supply rail of earth and +5v and then supply a signal wire that is accurately variable between 0-5v in increments of 0.1v

(if cannot run off a 5v output then perhaps a 12v supply could be used though prefer a 5v supply to be used)

it will have 2 momentry switches - one for up and one for down to adjust the output voltage (incerment/decrement of 0.1v per switch event)

i know its possible but my electronics knowledge just does not cover that fully lol

can pay for parts and build fee if someone knows how to do it..

May be able to help you out but can you provide some background info so we know what you are trying to do??

Always makes it way easier when you know what you are trying to build - also has the upside that there may be a better way to do it!!

To be used in a testing rig I'm doing for a mate of mine. Basically he has a hydraulic ram that takes an input of 0 to 5volt to go between 0 to max pressure to basically want to rig the unit to be able to up the pressure in steps of 0.1 volt at a time

The initial output can either start at 0 or whatever really but being adjustable he can change as needed

Happy to pay to get this sorted as he is rather keen to try and make the controller work on 0.1 increments

circuit builder also needs to know the type of load and max current required

O ya true true. Load will be minimal as the output goes into the rams own controller unit that does the conversion of volt on line to ram output.

I suppose the ram controller just needs to see a voltage on the signal line really. Perhaps the output can be in a across a 10kohm load as that should give a nice stadle signal as well as some load.

Not really measured the input signals load so just proposing one. Hmm that's the whole reason for this test rig
