Where can I get a Cargo step panel for my 3.0R wagon

Hi Guys,

Just got a 03 Legacy wagon 3.0R for the family, anyone have that they want to sell or know where I can get a cargo step panel for the top of the rear bumper? ( to stop the missus scratching the top of the bumper with the pram) or is there anything else I could use? from say Repco/Supercheap? I called Armstrongs and they want $315.00 for one...

Any suggestions appreciated

Try Repco, Supercheap, etc and see if you can find that clear 3M adhesive stone-chip protection material - stuff that's used for bonnet and headlight protection. I've seen kits for headlight protection at Repco. If you can get say a bonnet protection kit you that would give you enough material to adapt to your rear bumper. Or otherwise try the specialists that apply that stuff - might be cheaper than the dealer option.

Failing that, give Strong for Subaru a ring. Their stuff for such new cars isn't always that cheap, but they only sell tidy stuff. Ask for Gerald, say you're from ClubSUB He can probably find you a metal kick panel to protect the bumper.
