Check engine light?

My check engine light comes on whenever I warm her up then goes away after 10sec - 1min, anybody mite know what that is just want to see what it could be.

Follow the instructions to pull which CEL is popping up. Connect both the small black plugs under your dash near the steering column (with ignition off), turn on ignition and watch the CEL. Long flashes equal 10's, short flashes equal 1's. So 2 long flashes followed by 4 short would be code 24 etc. If you have more than one CEL code it will cycle through all codes before starting again.

This will give you more insight than any of us can over the internet.

You'll need a pen, paper and the ability to count flashing lights.

cool ill have a look when i get on a computer but im guessing its the O2 sensor but pays to check it out.

Yeah, mine comes on intermittently. Is always after I've been doing lots of engine braking and is always the same code. Can't remember the number but its the one for the Throttle Position Sensor Circuit. Goes away after about 5mins being on but its there when you pull codes.

aw ok so what sorts that problem? maybe a dumb question but that side of things im not to clued up on.

Pull the code first to see what the problem is/was. Like I said mine is only intermittent so I just clear the ECU of codes after Ive checked it to keep track of everything (I write them down in a book with the date etc).
