yellow speed coilovers

Hi guys

my rear suspension in my wrx sti v5 is starting to die, im looking for a good set of coilovers for road and a some track driving

has anyone had any experiance with these yellow speed coilover competition premiums?

or what would you recommend?? i want to spend max 2.5-3k

and does anyone know the cost of getting the LVV certification for the aftermarket suspension

Look for some second hand JDM-as-feck ones on trademe. As long as they're in good enough condition you'll get much better struts for much less money. I got some Cusco Zero2s for my old GF8 for like $600

Cert is usually ~$400.

JDM coilovers tend to have harsh damper settings as their roads are a smoother than ours, and biased to track work. Also don't have much droop travel. Some coilovers can't be rebuilt in NZ, some can, but they're all pricey to do so. So best to know how much use a set of coilovers have had before you buy used ones. A pity that Wteline no longer make their G4 coilovers, they were supposed to be some of the best track capable street setups around.

what about BC Golds? only 1650 installed on trademe are they good compared to tein superstreets?
