96 RSB Headlights & Washer Bottle questions

Does anyone know if there is a seperate washer bottle for the back windscreen wiper on a 96 RS-B or does it have a feed off the one in the engine bay? my rear wiper only seems to work when it wants to & i cant get it to spray( is a nozzle but cant see where the hose dissapears after it goes behind the left panel in the boot)

Can i change the bulb ( See Picture Circled in Red) in my headlamp's or are they fixed beam and have to change the whole surround? just noticed the L/H side one is out Lo-beam lamp

AND the foglights how in the F*** do the outer ones come one, when i hit the button only the round bulbs come on not the outer ones (See Picture Circled In Blue)? could this just be a fuse? or is there something im missing

any advice appreciated, thanks

The headlight will be just a bulb so easy to replace

the other Light is a turning light i believe try having lights on and that indicator going and see if it comes on

sweet i was hoping to have a better look last night at work when i had it inside the car park with some extra light around but

glad its just a bulb ill pick one up in the next couple of days

Headlight one. just replace it . open the bonnet and open the rubber cover.. and wala~~~ take it out and take it to the shop and ask for replacement or better one like Philips 5000k one.. or get a set of HID kits... they look cool..

just like my cef with 8000K HID light with HID WHITE LED..

and the foglight. just put ur hand behind the bumper.. usually have a big piece of plastic to cover it. just undo few screws and turn the black cover off.. and replace it. it should be H3 if its the same as my BH5

You do realise that aftermarket HIDS are a wof fail which makes them illegal ????

Back to the orginal thread - you main headlight is sorted - Yes?

The lower - the outer is a turning light (on some models) others its just blank and the lamp is just for fog/driving lights

yup main one all good ill pick up a bulb on sunday or monday

Lower ones must be turning lights, they dont come on with fog or headlights will check it out later on

let my old man take it up to palmy today... told him to be careful when he puts his foot down especially in 3rd

Yes it uses the washer bottle for the front window too. There is 2 seperate motors however (on the front of the bottle), so you may find the motor has died (mine did that a couple of years ago).

For your main bulb you will find a grey cover that unscrews one half turn anti clockwise, you then have a metal clip that unclips from outside in (outer edge of car towards middle of car) and bulb comes out. Repco have a two for one deal on their headlight bulbs at the moment and your car will take an H1 bulb.

And yeah the outer lights on your fog lights are turning lights, when you have either fog or main beams on and indicate a certain way you will notice them come on and provide some extra light in the direction to which you are turning!
