So... I am looking int removing and shaving the trim down the side of the guard and doors. This will include getting rid of the factory indicator. Does any have any idea what I could put in its place. I would really like a small dome one. All ideas and help appreciated. Im super stuck on this one.

Cheers, Dilly.

have seen it done once in the states- its poos - dont do it :P

harder than its worth - I have talked it over with many a panel beater and they did not want to touch it

even if I did the hard work like My bonnet, they would not finish it

Can I be a pain and ask why? does it have to do with the sh**y a$$ curve in the door or just the fact its so much to fill.

Other wise I have 2 options;

A- Would be to remove trim, fill holes from clips. And then i still need an indicator or;

B-Just paint it silver and have tinted indicators (Most simple-boring way)

I just want a clean mess free look without looking 'aftermarket' or 'ricer'

I will defanatly get some pictures up of my build very soon...

yea too much filler would fall out from the weight (I'm talking more the door trims than indicator)

would needa whole new skin of steel, which would need rolling/folding to hold form etc

clear indicators pop up every now and then, you cant have mine!

nothing wrong with grabbing a spare door and giving it a go - I hate being told "you cant do the" without good reason either

ALSO keep eye on your local wreckers - there are some RFRB Clear strips for the doors as well which were a factory option - pm RebuenH

he has sent some to the states before and may have pix somewhere (they protrude with less 'bump')

just shave it out and have nothing!

do doors etc while your at it, looks tidy as

Great idea in theory. It has to be unnoticeable though which means hours and hours of work. Plus I will still need an indicator of some sort :-\

I have a spare door I may practice on + test durability. All handles will stay, function over looks. I wouldn't mind seeing someones car that has had this done.

Ive been hunting around on the net and it seems it may be legal (ish) to have no side indicators. Hopefully its legal or certable. After much thought I may remove trim and indicator but leave indent there. Clean and tidy. ill practise on my spare door ;)

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

      Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
