APEXI SAFC (and similar)

gday guys im looking at purchasing an APEXI SAFC. from what I understand its used to alter the signal from the air flow meter so the ecu runs more fuel. has anyone had any experience with one of these (or similar)? and is it a worthwhile mod? mainly just want it for safety, leggy currently running TD05 turbo, yellows, chipped ecu, fuel pump, split rails etc. Car runs 16psi happy as and even had it running 18psi with no obvious signs of detonation etc but just wondering if the SAFC would be a good adition to ensure shes always getting plenty of juice?

sweet with it? or sweet without it? im guessing maybe more for someone who wants to run more boost on a standard ecu?

if you use one, you'll need to have it tuned. it can also be used to remove fuel which is handy for leaner cruising, but you'll need a good road-tune to set that up properly

i'm currently using one to make sure i've enough fuel for the extra boost i run to the redline

who did you get to tune yours and how much would I expect to pay for a tune on it? dont want it to end up a costly exercise or else i'd be better off just going for a link ecu or similar.

So to wrap up, i'm happy with how the car runs and doesnt detonate etc, so only worth it if I noticed a problem that needed to be 'tuned' out?

cost of tuning won't go away if you buy a link :

it would cost a lot more to do a full tune with a link in fact.

just get it on the dyno for an A/F check then go from there.
